Central Coast Bushwalks for a Ridiculously Hot Day
If it is a boiling hot day and you are still longing for a bushwalk even then we still have you covered. These are a collection of rainforest and coastal walks that will hopefully be ok.
Heat is a serious issue when walking though so if its not a safe temperature simply go for a swim instead. Also recommend going earlier in the morning when its a bit cooler too. Always bring plenty of water minimum 2-3L on a hot day.
Strickland is usually about 3 degrees cooler down the bottom and the coast often is cooler because the water tempers the temperature and breezes mean it feels cooler as well.
Again, we highly recommend:
Walk early in the morning.
Pick these walks that are likely to be cooler, in the rainforest or on the coast
Bring 2-3L of Water
