How to find green spaces and views that won't get built out?
The Central Coast has many beautiful waterways and green space, from national parks, state forest and Central Coast Council's Open space system. This means there are stunning green views and a great lifestyle for bushwalking.
This Guide will show you how to find Central Coast Council's Open Space system that won't get built out by developers. You will also need to check for national park areas and state forest areas, these are easier to google though, while council's system is quite widespread and hard to determine without the mapping.
It developed a few years ago when council allowed certain rural properties to subdivide and then used the contributions from these to buy up this fantastic open space system that preserves green views along ridgelines for people and habitats for animals.
How to find Central Coast Council's Open Space System
Click on the Online Mapping Tool on Central Coast Council's website here.
2. Agree to council's terms and conditions:
3. Try searching for your address. This often deosn't work, tried three different examples and not a single one worked - not to worry though, use the scroll on your computer mouse to zoom into your address. It often helps to have google maps open beside it to make your address easier to find.
4. Tick on Dog Excercise areas, both of these areas are council land and won't get built out on. Red is the Central Coast Council Open Space System, green are dog areas that are normally council parks.
